WELCOME to Green Gate!
Green Gate Children's School is a small, collaborative learning community for creative and active students in preschool through 8th grade.
Since 2008, Green Gate has been a place for children to grow, create, imagine, and dream. You won't find our students sitting in rows of desks or school bells dictating the schedule. Instead, our students spend their days in flexible, mixed-age classroom spaces and spend lots of time outside in our nature-inspired play areas.
We have designed our curriculum, space, and schedule to look a lot less like school and more like LIFE!
One of the first things you will notice when you walk through our doors is that our school has the look and feel of home bringing natural elements, cozy furnishings, and traditional learning materials together to create a warm, inviting, and enriching learning environment.
In addition to our core curriculum, our students are given lots of time and space for creative and active play both indoors and out. These experiences help children deepen their sense of self, make healthy choices, build compassion for others, develop important life skills, and connect to the world around them.
At Green Gate Children's School, your child will be known and valued for their own uniqueness. We work with students to set their own learning goals and master essential skills and concepts at their own pace. Our warm and welcoming school community supports children and families as they navigate through life.
